The European version of the Tarzan comic was published from to by Marketprint in Yugoslavia, and later translated and published in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Germany, the Netherlands, and Denmark.
Publishers believed at the time that a series would sell less if people perceived it as new. Comis German Tarzan 34 and 35 of the monthly series were not allowed to be sold in Germany because the agency considered them to be harmful for young readers.
