The middle segment where we are in Ruseell’s POV I kept skipping whole pages when the characters started AGAIN to fall into a rant about how much they loved each other or how perfect and unearthly beautiful they were Evie is recovering from the events at the end of the last book, and by her side is her loving and faithful angel, Reed.

But that is who she is, a Seraphim, a protector of the ones she loves. Other books in the series. Damm this book was awesome. She is never going to choose him and it irritates me because Evie keeps leading him on and putting him in danger!!

This fact is very difficult for me to get past, especially since Evie is very powerful already without reaching her full potential and incredible intelligent. Mar 20, Tanja Tanychy St. HOW can you not know what “y’all” stands for? Brennus, wow, what do I say?? Reading a book is an investment both with your finances and your time.

And one more time. Yes, yes I did. And, of course, Russell is up for anything that means he and Evie will be alone together.

Brace yourselves for a downpour of incoherent fangirl feelings and spoilers… Evie and Russell left. Apparently, he is not dead, bartop saves her life and they’re free to go. The chapters involving Brennus are the best to read. The action is palpable and it makes your blood run high. The ‘romance’ part was too cheesy for me.

It’s getting a bit tiring however with practically every male of every species falling madly in love with the main character – I mean, really?! It was kind of like waking up and deciding to take a walk bg the block, only to find out you actually had to go sprint a marathon OMG i thought i was gonna die.

The entire first qmy is from Evie’s perspective. He thickens the air I breathe, choking me with his scent…his aroma. I wouldn’t suggest one that I thought would be a waist of either. I have lived in Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Arkansas, and I love this series, and I absolutely adore the characters in this book. I love her voice and love the way she just sucks me into each chapter. Strangely, I am also pulling for some of the new villains in bartlo most amazing sequel–everyone loves a bad boy with a soft spot, you know?

I love these characters.

As a consequence, there were many scenes including how vampires worked as we know when they were hungry. Amy did an amazing job of bringing these intense emotions to life.
