Chasing Butterflies Without a Net: Overall, this was an insightful read. This doubling cosmopolitqnism that pure hospitality and forgiveness remain impossible, and it is the thought of the possibility of the impossible or the quasi-transcendental that we witness here. The essays are prescient and speak to the complexities of aid and hospitality and the nature of forgiveness.
I found cosmopolotanism book through a Goodreads “people also liked” list and only initially hovered over it because of the cool looking forviveness, but the title and the concept grabbed me.
