Course programme 48 hours are scheduled, divided in theory about the numerical methods and in numerical simulation numeruca I. The knowledge provided by this course regards numerical solution of nonlinear systems, numerical methods for derivation and integration, methods for the solution of differential equation systems with cominciol and boundary conditions.
In the second part of the course students will learn to use the MATLAB software to implement the algorithms studied in the first part of the course, comparing the approximated solutions with the exact ones obtained with the Symbolic Math toolbox program.
Laurea Triennale in Matematica. Didactic methods The classes will have frontal lectures on all of the mentioned topics, as well as laboratory lectures for the implementation of the algorithm in the Matlab environment and their test on simple problems.
The final exam consists in an oral test, dedicated to verify the knowledge of the methods explained during the course and to discuss the results obtained in the individual assigned exercise.
